At The Pets and Prisoners Project, we believe in the transformative power of compassion and companionship. Our mission is to assist former inmates in their re-entry journey by providing essential support, including rental and job assistance. Through our unique program, we pair inmates with shelter animals, fostering a bond that nurtures love, responsibility, and empathy.
By living with and caring for an animal, inmates experience the joy of unconditional love and the profound impact of giving a second chance to a deserving pet. This relationship not only helps inmates develop essential life skills but also prepares them for a successful reintegration into society.
We are currently inviting real estate agents, charities and churches to join our pilot program. By signing up for our class and 3-month membership, you will learn how to collaborate with charities and churches to secure housing for former inmates and how it will become lucrative and profitable for you and investors. Your participation will help us turn this initiative into a fully functioning charity and support our first program clients.
